What did some early Christian communities think about gender and the story of creation ?
I do not understand this question . Would friends saying that being male or female was not relevant to the early Christians ? Are saying that sexual gender is not important ? Are subtly implying that being gay or transsexual is not relevant for the kingdom of God ?
The Homosexuality is totally reprehensible in Paul's letters as in the entire Bible .
" Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity , to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves ;
Who changed the truth of God into a lie , and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator , who is blessed forever . Amen
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions . For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men committing what is shameful , and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error . "
Romans 1:24-27
